A vajacial is typically a 30 minute professional spa service for your vulva. This is not for your vagina, as that is inside your body. Vajacials provide the vulva with post-care love after hair removal. It helps with dead skin cells, ingrown hairs, razor bumps, dark spots and skin texture around the bikini line, all to maintain healthy and hydrated skin in the vulva area, leaving one feeling confident.
What’s included?
A standard vajacial could look something like this:
Cleanse
Steam Treatment
Gentle Exfoliation
Ingrown Hair extractions
Customized Treatments or Masks
Serums and Hydration
Benefits:
The vaginal steam will loosen ingrown hairs, oil, dirt, and debris that clog the upper layer of skin. The extraction process removes ingrown hairs, blackheads, and deep blockages. A gentle exfoliant will be used to clean out the pores. This step will reveal a fresh, healthy, and baby-soft layer of skin that can absorb and retain moisture. Finally, the mask will detoxify the skin and soothe the pubic area.

Here are pre-wax care instructions to ensure the best results from your waxing appointment:
Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate using Bare By Vanilla Exfoliating Sugar Scrub 24-48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and help prevent ingrown hairs.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Limit sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 48 hours before waxing to reduce the risk of skin irritation.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated, which can help with the waxing process.
Let it grow out: Your hair needs to be at least ¼ inch (length of a grain of rice) can order to wax.
Avoid Skincare Products: Refrain from using products containing retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids, or other strong exfoliants for at least one week prior to waxing, as these can increase skin sensitivity.
Try Not Wax on Sensitive Days: If you are menstruating or experiencing hormonal changes, your skin may be more sensitive. Consider scheduling your appointment for a different time if you are concerned about discomfort.
Communicate Health Conditions: Inform your esthetician of any skin conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect your waxing experience.
Arrive with Clean Skin: Ensure the area to be waxed is clean and free of lotions, oils, or deodorants.
Dont dos:
Alcohol and caffeine: Avoid these substances as they can constrict pores and increase pain
Heavy workouts & sexual intercourse: Sweating can lead to clogged pores, which can make waxing more painful and cause breakouts. Avoid these activities on the day off your appointment.
Shaving: Avoid shaving for at least two to three weeks before your appointment. This gives the wax something to grab onto.
Tight clothing: Avoid wearing tight clothing on the day of your appointment.
Moisturizing: Don't apply moisturizing products before your appointment, as it will come off with the pre-depilatory product. Instead, moisturize in the days leading up to your appointment.
Exfoliating the same day as your appointment: Always exfoliate 24-48 hours before your appointment. Exfoliating the same day of your appointment will over sensitize the skin and make your wax more painful.
By following these instructions, you can help ensure a smoother waxing experience with optimal results.

Why Should I Wax?
Waxing offers longer-lasting results than shaving, providing smooth skin for up to six weeks compared to the daily maintenance of shaving. It typically causes less skin irritation and can reduce hair thickness and growth over time. Waxing also acts as an exfoliation method, promoting smoother, healthier skin while minimizing ingrown hairs and razor bumps.
How Old Do I Need to Be to Wax?
There is no age requirement for waxing, but individuals under 15 getting a Brazilian wax must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for consent during their first visit.
Does Waxing Hurt?
Pain perception varies by individual. While the first session may be the most uncomfortable, subsequent waxes often result in reduced pain and smoother skin.
Do You Service Men?
Male clients can book facial and body waxing services, but intimate waxing and brightening (manzilian and butt) are not currently available for men.
Can I Wax on My Period?
Yes, you can wax during your period, but be mindful of increased sensitivity. Ensure proper hygiene, such as bathing and using a fresh tampon.
Can I Wax While Pregnant or Breastfeeding?
Waxing is generally safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but heightened sensitivity may lead to increased discomfort. Consult your healthcare provider for postpartum waxing.
Can I Get a Vajacial While Pregnant?
The Instant Soothe Vajacial is safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
How Often Should I Wax?
For optimal results, start with waxing every three weeks. Depending on your hair type, you may transition to every 4-6 weeks. Regular waxing can lead to finer, less visible hair.
Are there any contraindications for waxing?
Yes, certain conditions like recent sunburn, skin infections, or the use of specific medications (e.g., retinoids) may contraindicate waxing. For a full list please refer to the terms of service tab. Always consult your esthetician regarding any skin concerns. If you have additional questions or specific concerns, it’s always best to consult your esthetician prior to your appointment.

2. Minimize Touching: Avoid touching the waxed area to reduce the risk of introducing bacteria.
3. Avoid Heat and Friction: Stay away from heat sources, such as saunas, steam rooms, and vigorous exercise, for 48-72 hours to prevent irritation.
4. Postpone Intimate Activities: It is advisable to wait 48-72 hours before engaging in sexual activity.
5. Wear Loose Clothing: Opt for loose-fitting clothing to minimize friction and irritation on the waxed area.
6. Apply Soothing Products: Use soothing creams or gels, particularly those containing aloe vera or menthol, to calm the skin and reduce discomfort.
7. Exfoliate Gently: After 72 hours, gently exfoliate the area with Bare By Vanilla's Foaming Sugar Scrub to help prevent ingrown hairs.
8. Moisturize Regularly: Keep the skin well-hydrated with Bare By Vanilla Moisturizing Ingrown Oil to maintain skin softness and elasticity.
9. Avoid Harsh Products: Steer clear of exfoliating scrubs, retinoids, and other irritating products for at least a week post-waxing.
