Terms of service.

At BARE BY VANILLA, your health and safety, as well as that of our staff, are our top priorities. To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, we reserve the right to decline services if you arrive for your appointment with any of the following conditions:

- Any visible skin irritations (e.g., rashes, bumps, sores, hives)

- Active bacterial infections (e.g., impetigo)

- Fungal infections (e.g., ringworm, athlete's foot)

- Severe dermatitis or eczema (especially if weeping or inflamed)

- Active flare-ups of rosacea

- Extensive psoriasis

- Viral infections:

- Active herpes (cold sores or genital herpes)

- Molluscum contagiosum

- Parasitic infections (e.g., scabies, lice)

- Any open wounds, cuts, or broken skin anywhere on the body

- Contagious illnesses (e.g., COVID-19, flu, common cold, or any respiratory symptoms such as coughing)

- Use of blood-thinning medications

- Sunburns

If you have any of these conditions, we kindly ask that you do not book an appointment until you are fully healed. This policy is in place to protect the health of all individuals in our establishment and other clients.

If you book an appointment and arrive with any conditions listed above, your services will be denied. In such cases, your booking fee will not be refunded.

REFUSAL OF SERVICE

We reserve the right to deny services to any person who we believe is not in the physical and mental state to receive the services ( including any kind of intoxication, abnormal behavior, and other.

BOOKING FEE

To secure your booking, a 50% service booking fee is mandatory. This fee will be deducted from your total balance and is non-refundable. In the rare event that your appointment needs to be canceled by me, a full refund will be provided through the original payment method.

RESCHEDULING

You can reschedule your appointment online up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Appointments can only be rescheduled once using the initial booking fee, which is only valid for 30 days. Should another rescheduling be necessary, the booking fee will be forfeited, necessitating the scheduling of a new appointment. Rescheduling less than 24 hours before your appointment will be treated as a cancellation. Each client is entitled to only one last-minute courtesy rescheduling per year, which is duly documented.

SQUEEZE-IN APPOINTMENTS

All squeeze-in appointments will be charged at regular prices. Sales, discounts, and promotions will not apply to these appointments. These appointments refer to requests made outside regular business hours or last-minute accommodations. There will be no additional “squeeze-in” fee, but the service will be billed at the standard rate.

MENSTRUAL CYCLE CONSIDERATION

For clients with irregular periods uncomfortable with waxing during their cycle, I recommend utilizing the FLO app to track your cycle for optimal booking. In such cases, same-day appointments are available.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation of appointments results in forfeiture of the booking fee. No refunds are provided. Clients who fail to show up without prior notice forfeit the booking fee and are prohibited from booking future appointments.

PUNCTUALITY

While no late fees are enforced, clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule if it inconveniences other clients or disrupts the schedule. The standard rescheduling policy remains applicable.

PAYMENT METHODS AND POLICIES

Balances are expected to be settled at the time of service. Payments can be made using Tap to pay or cash (USD only). Non-cash payments will incur an additional 3% processing fee due to bank charges. Photo identification is mandatory for card transactions, with the name on the ID matching the card.

APPOINTMENT MODIFICATIONS

Once an appointment is booked, downgrading is not permitted. Clients are required to pay for the initially booked service due to setup, product usage, and reserved time slot. Upgrades or additional services may be accommodated based on availability.

GUEST POLICY

Additional guests and children are NOT permitted.

SERVICE GUARANTEE

Client satisfaction is paramount. Clients dissatisfied with services are encouraged to contact the salon within 2 days of the appointment for a complimentary correction. Concerns reported beyond this timeframe will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for resolution.
